Creative Retreat Live 2022

I am so happy and excited to share that I’m part of the 2022 instructor lineup in the Creative Retreat Live hosted by Peggy Dean @thepigeonletters!

 Constructing Consistency in Your Calligraphy

MARCH 5, 2022 @ 10 AM PST

My class is called Constructing Consistency in Your Calligraphy. I’ll be teaching how to evaluate your own work and what exercises you can do to explore your tendencies on the page, ⁣with the hope and aim of discovering your own traditional style in the process. I’ll be demonstrating using Engrosser’s Script, but the lesson can also be applied to Copperplate. 

This lesson is going to be streamed on the last day, March 5th at 10 am PST (11:30 pm IST) and I would love to see you there in the chat!

MATERIALS NEEDED:  

  • Oblique or straight pen holder

  • Pointed nib

  • Calligraphy ink

  • Paper suitable for pointed pen

 

Remember, this is a completely free event but if you can’t make it live, not to worry, there is the Permanent Vacation option that lets you have access to everything at any time!
